"41'97" was Grand Champion
at the 1998 Medicine Hat Bull Sale selling
for $20,000 as a yearling. After seeing heavy
service
that
year, "Magic Man" was slapped Grand Champion
at the 1998 Chinook Classic Gold Show judged
by
Blaine Brost, a very respected Hereford breeder
from Irvine, Alberta. The next day "Magic Man"
was selected Supreme Champion over all breeds.

Sired by, just maybe, the greatest breeding
bull of the last decade, Belvin Black Magic 42'92.
Magic Man is from a 2 year old heifer that topped
the 1995 Saskatchewan Masterpiece Sale. One cannot
say enough about her. Sired by the TC Stockman
2164 bull, who ranks in the top 4% of all Angus
bulls on the American Angus Association Sire
Summary for yearling weight, in the top 10% for
scrotal circumference and in the top 10% for
weaning weight while showing +10 for milk. Up
to date carcass data ranks him in the top 1%
for rib eye and in the top 30% for marbling.
His dam TC Ruby 5087 was the Top-selling female
lot of the 1993 TC Ranch cow sale at $19,425,
she being also the dam of the $32,000 TC Influence.
Prime Beauty 48A, now owned by Ebon Hill and
Benchmark, is a wonderful Rito 2100 daughter
from a Prime Rate female. She has been flushed
back to 2164.

Weight: 90 lb.
Weaning Weight: 930 lb.
13 mo. Weight: 1450 lb.
Breeding On..
"
The proof
is in the pudding" they say, and his first
calves are outstanding. The average birth weight
on
14, 1999 bull calves at Benchmark was 76 lbs.
while the average 205 day weight was 739 lbs
and 365 day weight of 1156 lbs. With
his first calf crop, I'd say there is "Magic
in the air". The next year, 12 sons
had an average birth weight of 87 lbs. and
an average 205 day weight of 691
lbs. Included in this 2000 calf crop is the incredible "007".
Progeny Successes
It is interesting
to note that the high selling bull and heifer
at the 1999 Alberta Super Star were both sired
by Magic Man bringing $8,750 and $14,000 respectively
for our partner in Magic Man, Ebon Hill. .
A limited number of exclusive
semen packages are available. Contact Ebon
