80J came to Benchmark in the fall of 2000; she is a very powerfully bred cow that adds a lot of volume and thickness to all of her calves. This cow has the eye appeal that we desire in any of our cows that we might consider to join the donor program. Another attribute that we seek out for a donor cow is strength in production; 80J has proven it with all of her calves that she is a producer. Her bull calf this year is a standout being sired by New Era, he is very correct and has the eye appeal and he doesn’t stop there.
