Blending
the old with the new, we have chosen Davis Forever
Lady 7653 to join our embryo transfer program.
7653 combines so many of the great proven sires
of the Angus breed, with Skarship Saratoga, Pine
Drive Big Sky, Traveler 23-4 and Bando 155, all
appearing in this females pedigree. Then you add
to the equation, WAR Elba 43J, who was the dam
of quite possibly the most famous flush in recent
history, you have a can't miss kind of cow. The
Forever Lady cow family is the second most prolific
cow family in the breed, standing second to only
the Everelda Entense line. 7653 comes from a dam
who currently has 26 daughters in 16 different
herds throughout the United States, such farms
as Vintage Angus of California, R&R of Louisiana,
Toebben Triple T of Kentucky and Davis of the Highlands
of Kentucky just to name a few. This particular
family has consistently been in demand and for
good reason, they are producers. When you combine
such a popular and profitable cow family with the
sire who currently has 2735 daughters working in
1030 different herds, you have a cow that brings
it all together. Davis Forever Lady 7653 is one
of only 9 females in Canada that are sired by GAR
Precision 1680 and one of only two in Western Canada.
When you combine the rarity of being only one of
9 in all of Canada, and then you couple that with
such an outstanding pedigree and a terrific cow
family, that is considered to be the best or second
best in the Angus breed, you have a very unique
genetic package. We are truly excited about the
gentics, and the future that this great matron
represents for us here at Benchmark Angus.
